Embassy Travel is one of Cape Town’s oldest and most well established travel agencies. As a leading corporate travel management company, we offer an all-encompassing, full service, travel solution to our clients through the ease and convenience of a ‘one stop travel shop’.

Our business is built on three pillars – experience, expertise and efficiency – a foundation that has allowed our business to grow and flourish for over 47 years.

Embassy Travel was founded by industry legend, Barney Singer. Chairman of the Singer Group, Barney is a former President of ASATA and former Vice President of UFTAA. In 1979, he founded SARTAC which later changed its name to Sure Travel, and was a founding member of the XL Travel Group in 2004.

Embassy Travel is a proud and founding member of the XL Travel Group. The XL Travel Group is modern, innovative and influential consortium of travel agencies that are driven by entrepreneurial flair, extensive experience and the highest levels of service delivery.

Today Embassy Travel continues to grow and flourish under the management of Marion Schoeman, Chief Executive Officer. Marion Schoeman has been involved in the travel and tourism industry since 1981 in an ownership and management capacity. She also served as the Chapter President for ASTA, Southern Africa, for several years. Schoeman is well-known throughout the industry for her passion and energy.

Embassy Travel is a registered company and an accredited IATA (International Air Transport Association) Travel Agency. We are also a registered ASATA (Association South African Travel Agents) member.
