I’m sitting at JNB now and wanted to take a minute to tell you what a positive experience I’ve had today with Kim Meyer. At 4:30am I was leaving my flat with the hopes of boarding a 6:15 flight to Mthatha, but due to the weather changes in Joburg, my swollen front door wouldn’t close (and therefore wouldn’t lock). Unhappy and frustrated, I called Embassy’s 24 hour number, not realizing I’d be waking Kim. Despite sounding a bit groggy (!) she was helpful in assuaging my worries. Throughout the morning she updated me on the waiting list for the afternoon flight while also managing the pending hire cars with Avis. When it was clear I could not fly to Mthatha, she quickly rebooked my hire cars for East London and liaised with the Mthatha branch. From the first call at 4:30am until the final call this afternoon, Kim has been helpful, considerate and seems to have the answer before I even ask. Having that peace of mind is wonderful. Thanks for assigning her to this account. It has been wonderful working with her.
